Terms of use

1. Acceptance of the terms

Welcome to TeachQ. Using the site and the service constitutes agreement to these terms of use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Description of the service

TeachQ provides digital tools for teachers to create learning content, tests, lesson plans, transcriptions, data analysis, and AI-based features. Some capabilities may be available only on certain subscription plans or subject to usage quotas.

3. Registration and account

You must provide accurate details and keep your sign-in credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that takes place in your account. We may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms, misuse, or a security concern.

4. Subscriptions, payments, and cancellation

Subscription plans and billing terms are shown at the time of purchase or signup. Billing is charged in advance for the relevant subscription period, unless stated otherwise.

You may cancel the subscription at any time through account settings or by contacting customer support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period that has already been paid, and access to paid features continues until the end of that period according to the plan.

No pro-rata refund will be given for the month or billing period in which the subscription was cancelled. Payments already charged for the current period are non-refundable, unless the law requires otherwise or a specific offer states otherwise explicitly.

5. Hours Bank and additional purchases

Purchases of hour packages or usage add-ons are subject to the package terms at the time of purchase. Unused units may be subject to a validity policy shown in the interface. Refunds for one-time purchases are considered according to the law and the service policy.

6. Permitted and prohibited use

The service is intended for legitimate educational use only. You may not use the platform to break the law, harm student privacy, distribute illegal or offensive content, attempt to break into systems, bypass usage limits, or copy the service or parts of it without permission.

7. Content and intellectual property

The platform, interface, trademarks, and code of TeachQ are our property or the property of our licensors. Content you create remains yours, and by using the service you grant us a limited license to operate, store, and process it in order to provide the service.

Content created with AI may require your review and editing. You are responsible for making sure that using it meets pedagogical, ethical, and legal requirements.

8. Availability and liability

We strive to provide a stable service, but we do not guarantee continuous availability without interruption. The service is provided as is (AS IS) to the extent the law allows. TeachQ will not be liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service, unless the law provides otherwise.

9. Ending use

You may stop using the service at any time. We may stop or change the service, or limit access, with reasonable notice when that is practical.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes agreement to the updated terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts in Israel, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
