Quiz Generator from a YouTube Lesson

If you have a YouTube lesson, TeachQ can draft questions from the lesson content it is able to process. You review the draft and decide what students receive. Not every video can be processed.

How to Create a Quiz from YouTube

Paste the YouTube link. When the lesson can be processed, TeachQ uses the available lesson content, including captions when they can be fetched, and drafts questions from it. You review those questions before students see them.

What TeachQ Does with the Lesson

TeachQ processes the YouTube lesson where that workflow is available. It reads the content it can obtain and drafts questions and quiz material from what was taught. Prompts for that drafting are adapted for teaching in Hebrew. The result is a draft, not a finished quiz.

Review and Edit the Generated Questions

Read the questions, change the wording, and remove anything that does not fit the lesson. You decide what students receive. A generated question is not treated as correct until you have reviewed it.

When a YouTube Video Cannot Be Processed

A video may be unavailable, or YouTube may block the request. Captions may be missing or impossible to fetch. Processing can fail. You can try again later, or upload a video file when that option is on your plan. TeachQ does not process every YouTube video.

YouTube Access and TeachQ Plans

A YouTube link, an audio upload, and a video upload require Pro or Hours Bank. The Free plan can start from a live recording, within monthly limits. A YouTube lesson is not part of that free recording path.

Share the Quiz with Students

After you review the draft, share the quiz so students can practice. For a lesson that is not on YouTube, start from the lesson itself. About explains the product, and TeachQ AI explains how teachers use the assistant.
